Zacapoaxtla

2.5 hours from Puebla. A brightly painted town with panoramic views of the surrounding homes and tree-covered hills/mountains. The town is historically important because of the Zacapoaxtlas (the people) who came to fight and defeat the French in Puebla on the 5th of May in 1862. The town is also a transportation hub and from here you can get to many other places in the Sierra Norte.
