Cholula

They say there is one church for every day of the year in Cholula. True or not, one of the coolest churches you can visit there is on top of a pyramid. Said to have the widest base in the world, this pyramid is mostly buried and from afar you’d think it was just a big hill with a church on top. But excavations have been done on a few sides, and for $40 pesos you can walk through tunnels that traverse the pyramid.

Cholula the town is quiet and relaxing during the day, and at night it comes alive with clubs. If you’re into dancing, it’s the place to go.
